Questions

How much does indiecast cost?

Plans start at $2 a month for 5,000 emails. Maker is $7 for 25,000, Studio is $19 for 100,000 and Scale is $39 for 300,000. Every plan has every feature, so you only pay for volume.

Who is indiecast for?

Indie developers who want to email their users: newsletters, product updates and drip sequences, without paying for a big marketing suite.

What do I need to get started?

A web browser and an email address. You sign in with a magic link, so there is no password. To send from your own address you verify your own sending domain.

How is the email delivered?

Through Amazon SES, with SPF and DKIM on your sending domain. Every email gets a one-click unsubscribe link, and bounces and spam complaints are handled for you.

Where is my contact data stored?

Contacts and account data are stored in a Supabase (PostgreSQL) database, and the app runs on Cloudflare Workers. We don't sell personal data, and we only use your contacts to run the service for you.

How is it different from Mailchimp?

It leaves out the visual builder, the CRM and the per-contact pricing. You import contacts from a CSV, write in Markdown, and pay by how many emails you send each month.
